Job description
Education : B.Tech/ B.E Chemical, In Any Specialization
Post : Assistant Manager
Location : Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in/supervise shift operations (Through experience in handling all unit operation in API process plant)
Adherence to Safety, Health and Environment measures.
Ensure calibration of weighing instruments in production
Monitoring and control of specific production operations as per standard operations procedures.
Review and approve production related documentation (SOPs, Batch Records etc)
(Authorized person by Department Head.)
Issue checklist, SOPs, log sheets, other records for data entry etc.
Adherence to and creating awareness about Standard Operating Procedures and product specifications.
Review/Approve data in Quality Records & maintenance of the same.
Finished product quarantine /inspection /packaging /storage.
Product dispatch in co-ordination with Sales Section.
Ensure timely completion & submission of Batch Records to Quality Assurance.
Guide/train the Junior Executives/Executives in plant operations, where required.
Participate in evaluating new recruits.
Production planning and scheduling and manage inventory management.
Take appropriate initiatives for plant/process improvements.
Ensure effective utilization of resources.
Provide regular reports/inputs to Senior Management.
Own up audits related to the plant in participation with quality.
Supervise manufacturing operations across multiple teams
Create awareness about Standard Operating Procedures, product specifications and safety requirements.
Prepare and implement production plans for the plant.
Review and approve production related documentation ( the SOPs, Batch Records etc)
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in plant operations and implement them through management team.
Ensure effective utilization of resources in the plant.
Provide appropriate & effective resources for achieving production objectives of the plant.
Training & development of plant personnel.
Provide regular reports and inputs to Senior Management.
Own up audits related to the plant in participation with quality.
Liaise with various support functions for carrying out smooth operations.
Resolve issues if any & ensure that the regulatory/audit requirements for the plant are met.
Technical/Functional Skills:
Hands-on experience in operation of centrifuge, reactors, filters pumps, techniques & aseptic operations.
Should have in-depth knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices. (cGMP)
Demonstrated/proven ability to face audits successfully.
Sound scientific temper.
Ability to troubleshoot problems.
Ability to identify trends in recurring problems & suggest permanent solutions.
Basic knowledge of analytical testing of biologicals.
Experience in technology transfer & scale-up operations.
Good prioritizing skills
Behavioral/Managerial skills.

Ability to interact with cross functional departments.
