Position / Job Title : Department Head Quality
Department : Chlor Alkali Production

Job Purpose

Plan, organize and coordinate Quality control department activities to ensure right quality of input and output through strict in-process controls and be responsible for new products and new formulations of different products

Key Accountabilities

Quality Control: Develop and ensure implementation of quality control parameters so as to produce the best quality product as per the requirement of the customers
Process Control: Establish and implement quality control techniques across the organization
Vendor and customer Support: Provide technical support to Sourcing Department to ensure required input for quality product manufacturing
Audit & Certification: Manage audit of various system and Product Certification by different agencies
New Developments: Play key role in conceiving, experimenting and developing cost effective new products, processes and formulations to meet the customer expectations and market demand
Planning, Budgeting, Cost Control & Synergies: To study and prepare the Planning & Budgeting scheme of the plant and timely implementation
System Management (Safety, Sustainability & WCM): Monitor adherence to statutory compliance related to Safety, Health and Environment & Sustainability and systems like IMS, WCM and ISO
People Development: Maintain a congenial work culture by effective management of people to improve productivity, growth & motivation levels of employees to institutionalize best organizing practices in the Unit.
