FACT Ltd. Udyogamandal proposes to select eligible candidates as paid Apprentices under the Apprentices Act in the following categories:-


GRADUATE APPRENTICES

Period of Training : 
One Year (Stipend INR.10000/- p.m.)

Qualification: 
Engineering Degree (B.Tech/BE UGC/AICTE recognised course) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation& Control,
Applied Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics &
Instrumentation.

Eligibility: 
First class Engineering Degree with an aggregate of 60% marks for General category and 50% marks for SC/ST in the relevant discipline and should not have completed more than 3 years after passing Degree as on 31.03.2020. BOAT Southern Region Registered Candidates are only eligible to apply.

Age limit: 
Age not more than 25 years as on 01-01-2020
For general candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1995
For OBC candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1992
For SC/ST candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1990

TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICES

Period of Training: 
One Year (Stipend INR.8000/- p.m.)

Qualification: 

A three year Diploma in Engineering (under State Board of
Technical Education) in Chemical, Computer, Civil, Electrical,
Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering
Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrument Technology,
Mechanical, Diploma in Commercial Practice

Eligibility: 

First class Diploma with an aggregate of 60% marks for general
category and 50% marks for SC/ST in the relevant discipline
and should not have completed more than 3 years after
passing Diploma as on 31-03-2020. BOAT Southern Region
Registered Candidates are only eligible to apply.

Age limit: 

Age not more than 23 years as on 01-01-2020
For general candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1997.
For OBC candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1994.
For SC/ST candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1992.

Note : 

The candidates belonging to the disciplines mentioned above can only apply.

Engineering/Diploma in any other discipline or equivalent
engineering/diploma will not be considered.

Instructions to the candidates

1. The Graduate / Diploma candidates may apply for apprenticeship through the online application link available in the website www.fact.co.in on or before 23.01.2020.

2. The originals of the following certificates should be scanned and uploaded.
a) SSLC Certificate
b) Graduate / Diploma Certificate & Marklist
c) Caste Certificate in the case of SC/ST, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in the case of OBC candidates & EWS Certificate in the case of Economically weaker section (Issued latest by 6 months by an officer not less than the rank  of a Thahsildar or validity mentioned in the certificate within the date of application )
d) Disability Certificate (for PwBD candidates) from competent Medical Board.
e) Aadhar card
f) Dependency Certificate (Applicable for dependents of FACT Employees)

Due care should be taken while filling email id as this will be required for all future
correspondence.


3. Incomplete application or application received after the due date or application without the above mentioned certificates will be liable for rejection without any intimation and will not be considered for selection. The scanned certificates which are not original / legible will be liable for rejection without any intimation.

4. The list of the eligible candidates and the date/venue/time of written test will be notified in our website www.fact.co.in. The admit card and other information of the written test will be forwarded to the email ids of the respective eligible candidates.

5. The candidate should bring the following at the time of written exam:
a) Duly filled admit card along with pasted photo.
b) One attested copy of the SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificates.
c) Identity proof (Aadhar card / Voters ID / Driving license)
d) Copy of BOAT Registration Number
e) Dependency Certificate from HR Dept. (if applicable)

6. Students awarded with CGPA / Grade system should produce conversion certificate of CGPA / Grade into percentage obtained from their university/board. For those who have not submitted the conversion certificate, the UPSC’s CGPA conversion formula will be applicable.


How to Apply 

Graduate / Diploma candidates should register themselves in the online web portal of Board of Apprenticeship Training www.mhrdnats.gov.in under ‘Student’ category. BOAT Southern Region registered candidates are only eligible to apply.

Candidates who have uploaded the Apprenticeship student Registration ID in the online application link only will be permitted for the written exam.

Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates is allowed as per rules
(PwBD will be considered for selection to Computer discipline Apprenticeship only.)

The selection will be based on the following criteria:

i) Qualifying Examination 50% marks

ii) Written test 50% marks

 The stipend amount and period of training will be as per prevailing Apprentice Act.

 Any change/modification in the above notification will be intimated through the official website www.fact.co.in only and will not be intimated through any other media.
