Job Description


Summary of Job            
To plan & manage the production activities in the Continuous production area and morale of the team members

To operate the plant as per designed condition and maintain all critical and key parameters within the specified limits and tolerance.

Key Responsibilities:

To manage the production, quality, cost, delivery, safety in plant and morale of the team members effectively and efficiently

To ensure that all the activities is being performed as per SOP and conduct training for subordinates

Co-ordination with other department for compliance of cGMP/ IMS/ FAMI-QS/ FSSAI/ FSSC/ Kosher/ Halal/ Schedule M.

Achieving monthly production of plant with monitoring and maintaining the raw material and utility consumption norms.

To ensure zero accidents, zero discharge and implementation of 5S in plant and office

Verification of batch manufacturing records, validation protocols, reports and documents

To evaluate change control, deviations to maintain systems/ process in valid status

To conduct HAZOP and adherence to EHS policy in the operations and completion of sanchetna points

Trouble shooting of the plant and continuous Improvement with head role

Liasioning with different function heads for better planning and co-ordination with business, R&D, service department and outside party for related job

To prepare yearly budget for plant consumables and variable cost

To be part of management review like BPR, PPR and plant performance representation

Application of methodology like six sigma and other BE concept

To identify, evaluate and review Significant Energy Users, Related Variables & Operation Controls, Energy Performance Indicators & energy performance

In addition to the above jobs, the management may assign with any other responsibility as and when required

To set the objectives and Management Program related to energy management system (ISO-50001).

Ensure effective RC-14001 system implementation in the department

In absence of Plant Head, Production (Manager/ Sr. Manager) shall be responsible for above assigned job  

Qualification & Experience         

B. Tech (Chemical Engineering) with 12 - 15 years of experience in continuous chemical process. 
     
Key Competencies ( Technical, Functional & Behavioral)    

Knowledge of Continuous chemical process.

Knowledge and hands on experience in design / commissioning of new chemical plants.

Exposure to Lean Six Sigma in the process.

Practical experience in implementing WCM pillars in the operations.

Awareness to modern HSE practices.
