About Company
Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) is a joint venture company incorporated by Coal India Limited (CIL), NTPC Limited (NTPC) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) with Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited (FCIL) and Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Limited (HFCL) with a prime objective to establish and operate state of the art environment friendly and energy efficient Natural Gas based Fertilizer Complexes (Ammonia-Urea) of 2200 MTPD Ammonia and 3850 MTPD Urea (1.27 MMTPA neem coated urea) at Gorakhpur(Uttar Pradesh), Sindri(Jharkhand) & Barauni(Bihar), and simultaneously market their products, thus spurring economic growth.
HURL is in need of dynamic, hard-working & talented freshers as under:
Minimum Qualification
Full time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics / Instrumentation Engg., / Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering /
Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical & Instrumentation/ Control &
Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks

Chemical Engineering : 38
Mechanical Engineering : 25
Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics : 15
Instrumentation Engg., / Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical & Instrumentation/ Control & Instrumentation : 12
Age Limit & Experience
The Upper age limit is 28 years
Remuneration
Candidates will be placed in the L1 level with starting annual CTC of Rs.700000/-.Candidates will be eligible
for annual increment and Performance linked increment.
The company provides medical insurance cover to its employees and dependent family members over and above CTC
Selection Procedure
The Graduate Engineers from the relevant disciplines should have appeared in GATE-2019 in the same discipline.
Only GATE-2019 score is valid for this recruitment exercise in HURL. Score from GATE-2018 or from any previous GATE examination is not valid.
On the basis of GATE-2019 score, the candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process comprising of:
1. Behavioural Test
2. Group Discussion (GD)/Group Task (GT)
3. Personal Interaction (PI) for assessment of different facets of knowledge, skills etc.
Nature & Period of Engagement
Selected candidates will be appointed as Engineers on probation basisfor a period of 1 year and shall have to attend any training program provided by company. Selected candidates shall be liable for posting to any of the three sites of HURL viz. Gorakhpur, Barauni & Sindri as per the requirements of the Company.
Service Agreement Bond
The selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond to serve the organization
for at least three years. The amount of the bond is ₹ 2,50,000/-.
