Required Qualifications


Education, Experience, Skills: B.E./B.tech ( mechanical/chemical/electrical)

Preferred Qualifications: Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering

Experience: 4+ Year experience in projects

Ability to coordinate personnel with diverse 
skills and experiences to accomplish overall planning goals.

Ability to plan, coordinate, and conduct 
meetings efficiently and effectively.

Ability to be concise, clear and direct in both written and verbal communications.

Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills by achieving good results in difficult circumstances.

Position Purpose & Summary

Build Project Engineer position will ensure project is getting executed as per timeline, within budget and following all safety norms.

Principal Accountabilities


Project Management. 50%
Works with reporting manger in selection of technology which will support plant operation and overall company strategy

Execution of projects by following Cargill EHS standards / project standards as shared the manager

Commissioning of projects on time and within approved budget

Demonstrating proposed payback of each project after commissioning

Preparing monthly project update in standard Cargill format

Co-coordinating with other departments (for example U&M) for shut down planning and commission activities

Identifying suitable consultant for designing civil / mechanical structures and approval has to be taken from government agencies

Execution of emergency projects on requirement basis to support Customer demand, plant operation and business goals

Follow up for on time payment to suppliers/contractors/vendors through follow up with stores and control function

Selection of suitable 
contractors/ suppliers/ vendors for each project and completing technical negotiation with procurement team & reporting manager

Manage Team. 10%
Guide team in daily operations
Prepare the team for upcoming new projects.

Align team with the organizational goals

Other Responsibilities. 10%
Supporting M&U manager during major break down crisis & during shut down activities

Supporting pack manager to solve repetitive customer complaints through engineering solutions

Supporting process manger to improve refinery yield through engineering solutions/automations

Supporting QC manager to eliminate food safety issues through innovative solutions/automations

Supporting logistic/WH manager to maintain FG storage systems through routing inspections/rectifications.

Continuous improvement. 20%
Support operation team in execution of planned CI

Plant Safety(EHS), Food safety & Audit compliance. 10%
Daily EHS related work like Permit , Pre-Job hazard analysis, Critical safety tasks and compliance.
