Designation & Department: Supervisor - Production

Education qualification: BSc / MSc - Chemistry / Diploma - Chemical (full time and govt recognised institute)  

Location: Panoli

Experience: 4 to 9 yrs

Key job requirements:


He will operate the process in his section (i.e. reactors, filters, pumps, columns, Dryers, Solvent recovery sections, scrubbers, and other related plant equipment operations and material charging operations) safely in adherence to the work instructions and follow the standard operating procedure. He will report any deviations from the above to the Shift in-charge / Executive immediately.

He will be responsible for the safety of the casual workmen working with him and will provide them with the required PPE for working and train them for the safe procedures.

He will take complete charge of his section at the beginning of the shift and will hand-over the complete charge of the section to his reliever at the end of the shift in writing. He will report to the Shift in charge/Executive before leaving the plant.  

He will report to the Shift in charge/Executive & have the breakdowns (related to Maintenance, Electrical, and Instrument Department) attended safely through the necessary permit procedures after proper equipment cleaning.

He will keep ready the raw materials, PPE's and packing materials for the next batch.

He will draw out the sample from the reactors, tanks, online sample as per the quality plan & safe sampling procedures and sent it to QC lab and follow-up and receive its analysis.

He will immediately report unsafe and abnormal situations to the Shift in charge/Executive and do the needful to stop it.

He will maintain proper identification of pipelines (from & to details), instruments, and equipment tags in his section.

He will complete the log sheet in all respects. ( Mass balance, report QC analysis, breakdown / delays and all required fields in the log sheet)
