Description

Objectives of the Position         

The position is required to extend analytical support to research divisions as well as local BUs.

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

Responsibilities

1. Development and validation of analytical methods for testing of process development samples and routine in-process reaction monitoring samples.
2. To test samples as per specifications and generate certificate of analysis.
3. To analyze residual solvents from bulk active ingredients and in-process samples.
4. To perform particle size analysis as per given protocol.
5. To write and review of SOP and STP.
6. To generate analytical reports with complete details of analysis (Labelling, RRT, method details etc.)
7. To adhere to EHS guidelines and report unsafe behavior observations.
8. To solve complex analytical problems.
9. To plan and organize work to utilize instruments effectively.
10. Timely calibrations of instruments in order to provide accurate analysis.
11. To maintain tracker of analysis
12. To order required chemicals, solvents and spares
13. Analyzing and interpreting data.
14. To crosscheck the accuracy of recorded data.
15. To qualify inhouse working standards
16. To maintain inventory of standards
17. To maintain analytics project file up to date.
18. To share the results on time and communicate the observations to concerned chemist.

Qualification & Competencies

1. Postgraduate in chemistry (preferably in analytical chemistry)
2. Minimum five years of experience in the field of process development analytical support.
3. Good operating knowledge of HPLC, GC, LCMS, GCMS software.
4. Shall have analytical thinking
5. Good professional track record
6. Ready to work with diverse team
7. Eager to perform and deliver
8. Good knowledge of method development, validation, assay testing.
9. Good in communication and teamwork
10. Good knowledge of computer software (e.g. Microsoft office)
