Objective:

  • To provide process safety support for reserach labs at Innovation campus, Navi Mumbai

 

Main Tasks:

  • Performing Calorimetric experiments to qualify energy data. For example - DSC, ARSST, ARC, HF cal
  • Providing process safety support for discovery and scale-up campaigns
  • To ensure maintenance and smooth running of process safety equipment's to eliminate delays in data generation.
  • Ensure transportation safety of chemical substances by adhering to internal guidelines
  • Proper and adequate reporting to all stake holders
  • Problem solving: - ability to analyze complex and diverse problem situations creatively leading to the generation and implementation of original solutions
  • Literature and data-base searching and the ability to collect, collate and interpret complex information.

Add on tasks/requirements for experienced candidates -

  • Familiar with thermodynamic & kinetic simulations related to reaction safety
  • Familiar with Gaseous and high-pressure reactions from a process safety perspective

Qualification:

  • Postgraduate in chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Knowledge of process safety in relation to chemical reactions and kinetics
  • Interpersonal skills for managing internal/ external project communication
