Job Highlights
- Leading/participating in risk assessments like JSA and facilitating & supporting other BUs as per requirement
- Responsible as Xact (Lanxess safety culture development department) coordinator for own department and ensure planning, implementing and documenting the action points
- Responsible Conducting monthly safety meeting, participate in Central safety committee meeting, X-act network steering meeting; tacking and follow up of their action items.
- Responsible for Planning and carrying out table top mock drills for the SIS function.
- Responsible for planning and imparting mandatory safety trainings.
- Ensure timely investigation of incidents , coordination for implementation of action point.
- Responsible for implementation of Contractor Safety Management . Active participation for contractor evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to LANXESS safety standards by periodic auditing of permit system and other safety relevant documents.
- Actively participate in departmental MOC/HAZOP process and support site BU’s for the same.
- Actively participating in cross functional audits across the site.
Requirements
- B.E / B.Tech Chemical with PDIS.
- More then 5 Years of experience in Chemical Industry in Safety Function.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Presentation skill & analytical ability.
- Good coordination between production & its alignment with safe practices.
