- Support production with QA/QC support.
- Responsible to initiate, evaluate, plan, direct and manage a team of chemist and report all activities related to R & D /QA/QC of Product/new products/improvements/cost saving measures.
- Initiates, Investigates and implements new methods, process improvements and cost savings projects in product/Quality & Process.
- Lead development of the ongoing process and new processes.
- Lead QC and QA with timely trouble shooting and analysis with rectification in case of deviation as and when required
- Develop & design process improvements for capacity enhancement and design trouble shooting experiments.
- Provide lead in developing analytical methods for newly developed processes to accurately define the results.
- Lead the process of scaling up operation from Laboratory to Commercial scale and be the part of plant management team & Transfer of Technology.
- Generate & Evaluate innovative ideas for new products an process development on accordance to the market /customer needs.
- Initiate/Execute/coordinate activities for developing laboratory & pilot plant infrastructure. Develop & execute experimental plan. Supervise & troubleshoot scale-up trials.
- Write technical reports, publications and patents.
- Ensure compliance as per applicable directives and acts.
- Skill development of sub-ordinates through training and mentoring for effective utilization.
- Coordinate Internationally for activities aligned.
- PhD in Chemistry preferably Polymers, Organic Chemistry
- More then 10 Years of experience.
- Good analytical skills. Independently handle GC, HPLC, Ion Chromatography, UV spectroscopy, Microscopic Analysis, IR Moisture analyzer
- Six Sigma trained for statistical data evaluations
- Demonstrates an ability to apply knowledge and experience to handle trouble shooting/new situations and a track record of good quality research.
- Capable to guide, mentor and develop a team of Chemist
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools and SAP

Job Highlights
- Should have knowledge of rotating equipments like pump, extruder, air blower & their maintenance work.
- Managing all the field activities like charging of various raw materials in Feed hoppers, Packing of Finished Goods, Operation of Extruder, Mixer, Pelletiser, Classifier, fluidized Bed dryer & PLC Operation.

Job Highlights
- Implementation of preventive, corrective, breakdown and shutdown maintenance to increase plant availability and reliability
- Execution for need based de-bottlenecks, expansion, improvement project plans.Execution of various projects with defined quality, cost and timeline
- Manpower and spares planning for timely completion of the maintenance work to reduce down time of the equipment or plant.
- Maintenance cost controlling by effective planning and regular monitoring within the sanctioned budget.
- Participating in root cause analysis (RCA) for reducing breakdown losses to increase plant availability.
- Compliance to Lexcore directives and preparing MIS
- Implementation of ISO 9001, 14000, 18000 in all areas under control
- Inventory management of critical spares
- Requirements
- Specific Education -BE - Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years experience or Diploma in Mechanical with 12-14 years experience.
- Work Experience - Knowledge of all type maintenance of Distillation Columns, Vacuum Ejectors (steam), Glass Lined Reactors, Agitators, Vaporisers, Absorbers, Graphite Heat Exchangers, Glass Columns and piping, Teflon Lined Pumps, Blowers, MSTL,CS & SS Piping in a chemical manufacturing industries, erection and commissioning of process equipments, engineering design calculations, basic engineering principles, health hazards of the chemicals handled at site, safe work practices to carry out the jobs safely.Knowledge of P.M & CM of rotary equipment
- Special Skills - Work experience of SAP , MS Office , Excel.
