Deputy General Manager - Accounts

Designation: Deputy General Manager - Accounts

Gender: Male

Location: Chennai

Qualification: CA / If CA (Final) then minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience

Languages Known: English, Tamil & Hindi

No of Experience: 15 – 20 years

Industry: Any Manufacturing

Turnover: 500 – 1500 Crore (Pan India Presence)

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Should be tech savvy, worked and implemented SAP or any Microsoft packages

2. Responsible for overall accounts primarily P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow, Reconciliations & monthly book closure.

3. Expert in providing details to bankers like CMA (Credit Monitoring Arrangement), data, dealt in credit enhancement & provide quarterly reports to management.

4. Co-orinate with Rating Agencies for certifications.

5. Debtor’s Management (10,000 Dealers/Distributor Pan India) for credit lock opening, limit enhancement, dealer analysis (contribution, DSO (Days Sale Outstanding) & payment patterns

6. Should have exposure on handling legal proceedings with respect to Debtors, Customers.

7. Exposure in validating and analyzing multiple schemes designed for dealers on pan India basis.

8. Co-ordinate with Factories for analyzing the standard BOM (Bill of Material) vs Actual BOM and report the deviations to management.

9. Creditors & Inventory Management.

Senior Executive - Taxation

Designation: Senior Executive - Taxation

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Ability to prepare monthly GST returns

2. ITC (Input tax credit) reconciliation

3. Preparation and filing of annual returns

4. Ability to perform ledger scrutiny and verification for GST compliance

Industry: Manufacturing Industry

Qualifications

1. Bachelor of Commerce

2. 5 years of in-depth work experience in Indirect Taxation, Central Excise, VAT, GST (Other accounts fields need not apply)

3. Experience working for multiple registrations/locations pan India 

Salary CTC: 3 Lakhs to 5 Lakhs
