Post: Project Engineer 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Defining project scope and objectives

Conduct feasibility study of proposed projects and prepare alternate options

Responsible for the projects starting from the early concept phase through the commissioning

Accountable for overall costs and schedule based on scope of work

Responsible for all deliverables as per the defined deliverable list and ensure good documentations
Initiate project reviews and ensure that the comments are incorporated

Should oversee construction activities at the construction site to ensure safety and quality as per specifications

Manage project schedule and project costs to meet timeline and achieve cost efficiency

Prepare project reports and communicate on a consistent basis to various stakeholders

Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers
Effectively manage change

Should coordinate with authority management team regarding the required legal permits.

Accountable for the safety and quality at the construction site

Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Confirming the adherence of Procedures & Policies and local regulations
 

WHO YOU ARE:

Bachelor or master’s degrees in chemical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent

8 + years of project management and related experience preferably in Chemical industry

Excellent analytical skills and a strong people leadership skill

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to solve problems creatively

Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

Having an experience through the full life cycle of projects starting concepts to commissioning

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

A person having maintenance experience in chemical plants will be preferable
