Job Highlights
Support production with QA/QC support.
Responsible to initiate, evaluate, plan, direct and manage a team of chemist and report all activities related to R & D /QA/QC of Product/new products/improvements/cost saving measures.
Initiates, Investigates and implements new methods, process improvements and cost savings projects in product/Quality & Process.
Lead development of the ongoing process and new processes.
Lead QC and QA with timely trouble shooting and analysis with rectification in case of deviation as and when required
Develop & design process improvements for capacity enhancement and design trouble shooting experiments.
Provide lead in developing analytical methods for newly developed processes to accurately define the results.
Lead the process of scaling up operation from Laboratory to Commercial scale and be the part of plant management team & Transfer of Technology.
Generate & Evaluate innovative ideas for new products an process development on accordance to the market /customer needs.
Initiate/Execute/coordinate activities for developing laboratory & pilot plant infrastructure. Develop & execute experimental plan. Supervise & troubleshoot scale-up trials.
Write technical reports, publications and patents.
Ensure compliance as per applicable directives and acts.
Skill development of sub-ordinates through training and mentoring for effective utilization.
Coordinate Internationally for activities aligned.
Requirements
PhD in Chemistry preferably Polymers, Organic Chemistry
More then 10 Years of experience.
Good analytical skills. Independently handle GC, HPLC, Ion Chromatography, UV spectroscopy, Microscopic Analysis, IR Moisture analyzer
Six Sigma trained for statistical data evaluations
Demonstrates an ability to apply knowledge and experience to handle trouble shooting/new situations and a track record of good quality research.
Capable to guide, mentor and develop a team of Chemist
Good knowledge of MS Office tools and SAP

Job Highlights
Responsible for operation & Maintenance management of 08 TPH capacity multi fuel boiler and NG boiler facility
Ensure smooth operation of Coal Handling/ Biomass handling and Ash handling plant.
Budgeting & Planning of fuel requirement and inventory as per the steam demand.
Planning, Budgeting & monitoring of entire boiler facilities .
Management of the O & M contract of the MFB facility.
Ensuring cost effective ,uninterrupted and safe operation of the boiler facilities.
Implementation of HSE practices in all areas of responsibility.
Ensuring compliance to the statutory requirement in the area of responsibility.
Requirements
B.E. Mechanical
Work Experience : 4 - 6 years
The position will be responsible for the Generation( Operation and Maintenance) and Distribution of steam to total Jhagadia site – All BUs. The annual volume of steam Generation & distribution will be @ 1200 T EUR. Also any stoppage of the facility will have direct impact on the operation of process plant. [e.g. Annual sales volume, expenses, assets under management, inventory value, value of plant or equipment, risk exposure, project cost, annual payroll].
Management of the solid fuel( Coal/Biomass) i.e coordination with Procurement/Vendors for inventory management ,storage space
Management of O & M ( Operation and Maintenance) ensuring uninterrupted steam supply
Frequent ( Monthly) shutdown planning and execution.
