Job Title: Officer - Maintenance
Location : Dahej, Gujarat
Reports to :Assistant Manager – Mechanical & Utility
Function: Manufacturing / Operations
Summary of the Role:
Officer Mechanical Maintenance Responsible for doing plant maintenance activities on his own under the guidance of Maintenance In charge. He will perform day to day routine plant maintenance /preventive/predictive maintenance activities to support manufacturing activities.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Carrying out maintenance & breakdown jobs of process plant equipment and utility equipment.
Preventive & Predictive maintenance as per schedule of all the Machines in the Plant & utility.
Carry out alignment, lifting arrangement, and pump seal assemblies,
Understand critical and non-critical equipment, importance and health mapping of critical equipments.
Spares identification, plan and coordinate for Procurement in consultation with Maintenance in charge. Also maintain stock/inventory of spares.
Support for Store function.
Carry out job planning/JSA of non-routine & critical jobs.
Maintain the Equipment History cards, Maintenance documents, ISO 9001:2015 documents.
Understand & execute pre-defined procedures for compliance, good engineering practices, good Housekeeping.
Supervise contractor’s work, Quality & safety performance.
Take appropriate decision during shift operation to ensure continues plant and utility operation.
Efficient operation of utilities and maintenance of the same.
Learn & understand various plant systems and carry out troubleshoot of equipments and systems.
Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):
Education / Certification:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience and Skills:
Minimum 5 -7 years of experience plant maintenance in chemical or petrochemical plant and utility
Good knowledge & hands on experience of equipment & system maintenance
Previous experience of working as maintenance technician/associates in MNC or chemical company.
Experience in maintenance of Chillers, Nitrogen plant, HVAC, water softening system ETP/ STP.
Energy conservation skills
Working knowledge of English.
