We are looking for qualified Chemical Engineers for our Ankleshwar Plant.
The Shift In-charge would be reporting to the Production Sr. Manager.
Key Job Responsibilities include:
Production Planning
• Develop shift wise production plan, resource planning (manpower & material) and ensure correct delivery to internal customers in alignment of the production plan through EPR
• Coordinate with engineering team for shutdown/maintenance activity in the shift and manage operations through work order and sign work permits
Executing Production Plan
• Reviewing all the process parameters and identify the problems / defects for machines or processes and analyse the problem for its causes.
• Coordinate with engineering team for correcting the defects/ problems in machines or process, and conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and organize for effective solutions.
• Make necessary changes during shift to produce within
specifications.
Shift Management
• Lead shift operations by managing operators/technicians and shift wise monitoring of process parameters yield, total efficiency against targets
• Troubleshoot process related issues based on previous shift feedback and inform major problems to respective heads of departments, supervise production live operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures
• Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers, and schedule and conduct shift meetings, assist in production as necessary and ensure statutory compliances
Site Safety Management
• Ensure people and process safety at site. Must know work permit system, various risk assessment methodologies, should possess firefighting skills, have sound knowledge of process troubleshooting requirements and their implementation and
develop employee/worker training module on plant operation.
• Play an important role in site emergency management, proactive in identification and implementation of new safety initiatives, leading from front on safety trainings/employee participation, communication & incident investigations
What we are looking for
• B Tech/BE in Chemical Engineering with 3 to 7 years' experience in chemical plant operations
Operational experience in managing equipment such as filter press (plate & frame), SFD, reactors, centrifugal pumps & valves, PLC/DCS base operations, furnace operations and milling & drying operations
