Department - Biotech R&D -USP

Experience required -10-14 years' experience in Upstream Processing.

Qualification - Ph.D. (Doctorate)/ M.Tech / MS in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry / Bioprocess/ Microbiology. 

Job Location - Aurangabad, Maharashtra 

Job Profile -

Planning and execution of experiments for upstream process development of chosen molecules using microbial and mammalian host cells.

• Ensure all the documents are prepared for batch records, validation reports and related documents for technology transfer and regulatory filings.

• To make sure that preparation of MCB's & WCB's for R&D and Production is carried out as required.

Monitor all the maintenance activities carried out related to the facility utilities and equipment for smooth functioning.

Procurement and evaluation of raw material for developmental and regular activities related to the fermentation process development.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Domain Knowledge- Must be well versed with different media, host cells/strains and fermentation technologies used for biosimilars/ biologic upstream process development.

• Must have knowledge of microbiological techniques to deal with live organisms and close systems.
