Manage the shift schedules of operators, allocate job to maintenance & contract supervisor as per schedules & requirements and provide shop floor training to the team

- Supervise day to day production activities as per defined process parameters by regular conditional monitoring and assist to resolve the deviations like leakages, spillages & unsafe conditions

- Achieve the plant production targets by monitoring process parameters, yield & quality during the shift

- Participate in Job Safety Analysis before initiating any work and follow the Permit System accordingly, ensure the permit closure post work completion

- Maintain good Housekeeping standards in the plant for smooth operations

- Ensure availability of raw materials & finished goods by communicating with other divisions & departments like stores & material

- Handle emergency situations & inform the superiors for any deviation, act as an incident controller in absence of SMC - Site Main Controller

- Identify & report the unsafe conditions to immediate superior & rectify the unsafe acts immediately

- Promote highest safety standards and BBS (Behaviour Based Safety) by ensuring usage of the required PPE(Personal Protective Equipment) by self & contract workers

- Ensure the required availability levels of utilities (steam, air, cooling water) & report shortfalls to the superior

- Verify the quantity & quality of batch raw material and maintain the records of process parameters like (PH, scrubber, dip-check, weight, load cell, density)

- Monitor & control environmental parameters during the shifts

- Monitor the loading and unloading activities during the shift Coordinate with QC lab for results of samples and report to seniors
