Job Highlights:
1. Responsible to carry out all the unit operations in respective plant either in the field or have operating knowledge of DCS to meet the production target.
2. Should have knowledge in basic know how on process safety and PPE’s used as per Lanxess standard and guidelines.
3. Responsible for effective coordination between DCS operations & field and seeking guidance from superior or fellow colleagues for trouble shooting in case there is an issue with repect to safety, quality, process disturbance, breakdown, chemical leakages/spillages e.t.c.
4. Must have knowledge of handling equipment like pump, Reactor, Heat Exchanger, Distillation column, Absorbtion column, Stripping column, filters, FBD in batch process.
5. Responsible to maintain discipline at workplace, follow safety guidelines & policies of Lanxess. Responsible to highlight unsafe condition in plant and get it rectified by co ordinating with shift leader.
6. Responsible for controlling energies and reduced consumption of Utility by isolating equipment, closing the valves if not in operation under the guidance of superiors and identifying the scope for reduction of utility consumtion by identifying source of leakages and rectifying inrespective shift by co ordination with cross functional team at shift level.
7. Reporting to shift In-Charge in respective shift and maintain the shift log book, SOP, Checklist for recording all the tasks which are being performed in shift level, Responsible for effectively handing over of the charge to next shift before leaving the work place.
8. Any other plant activities assign by shift In-Charge or plant in charge, responsible to highlight unsafe condition in plant to next level.
9. Must have Knowledge of different hazaradous chemicals for sampling /handling /transferring.
10. Must have knowledge in handling effluent / waste / by product, generated from process.
Requirements:
B.Sc/M.Sc Chemistry, Diploma in Chemical Engineering or ITI AOCP.
Experience: 3 - 5 years
