Position:

Shift Engineer - DTA PP [80551873]

Function/Business Area : Manufacturing

Location : Jamnagar

Job Responsibilities :

1. Supervise and follow implementation of safety procedures and processes in the fields

2. Ensure risk assessment and tool box talk prior to job execution

3. Provide field supervision for shutdown, startup and preservation

4. Support the shift superintendent in monitoring process parameters, troubleshooting & expediting maintenance 

5. Effective use of OMPro tool

6. Mitigate process emergencies and emergency shutdown

7. Support efforts on special samples and improvement trials where relevant

8. Follow up with Field executive and maintenance executive to expedite maintenance activities and safe HOTO of equipment

9. Implement PIOs and support improvement studies in his area

10. Participate in learning from incidents and RCA discussions

11. Maintain shift logs for respective area / equipment

12. Self-Compliance to OD elements and enforce the same with subordinates for operational excellence.

13. Providing field training to the field Executives/subordinates.

14. Participating in improvement activities and providing the input/feedback to the superiors for the continual Improvement in the Plant performance, safe operations and ease of operations. 

15. Preparation of daily reports on the Plant performance highlights, raw material and Utilities consumption reports. Member of Auxiliary Fire Squad.

Education Requirement :

B.Tech/B.E, B.Sc. or Diploma Degree in Chemical Engineering

Experience Requirement :

1. He/she should have managed a team in his current/prior assignments

2. Relevant Experience - Degree holder 2 years

3. Relevant Experience - Diploma holder 5 years as panel executive
