We have an excellent opportunity for Department Head - Polyaluminium Chloride / Chlorinated Paraffin Wax at Grasim chemical Division, Bharuch

Dept: Production PAC / CPW

Designation: AGM / DGM

Qualification: BE/B .Tech Chemical

Experience: 20 + years

Job Description :

Production/Operations:

Plan and mobilize resources for plant operation

Monitor and Implement production processes and ensure marketing schedules are also met.

Coordinate to ensure optimum plant performance for achieving targets

Monitor plant performance parameters on daily basis and take immediate corrective actions if required

Ensure implementation of set operation parameters and consumption norms

Share management decisions/plans down the line for better execution.

Operational efficiency & Continuous Improvement:

Review the performance against set targets.

Analyze the process parameters and simulate it in various conditions.

Search internet for latest development and technology changes in the world and formulate schemes accordingly.

Apply different problem solving tools to reduce the breakdowns.

Debottleneck and follow SOPs to avoid any damages.

Plan for maintenance & shutdowns in coordination with Maintenance department.

Product Quality & Customer Service :

Maintain products quality parameters as per marketing requirements (within process limits).

Provide necessary support to customers and Initiate corrective actions

Planning, Budgeting, Cost Control & Synergies: To study and prepare the P&B scheme of the VAP plants and timely implementation of various CAPEX schemes through co-ordination with engineering department

Support and prepare annual budget with FH Technical in alignment with various customer needs considering EVA targets

Identify and implement potential cost saving areas, improvement areas.

System Management (Safety, Sustainability & WCM):

Plan, review & monitor corrective action for internal customer compliances.

Monitor processes for accident free operations/ Maintenance and compliance of all safety requirements as stipulated by the Factories Act & environment related statutory requirements

Ensure training of team to handle emergency situations like Liquid Chlorine leakages etc. under Disaster Management activities

Monitor compliance to effluent norms set by pollution board

Ensure implementation of safety procedures, audit point’s measures & ensure training on safety measures.

 

Major Challenges:

Integration of PAC expansion project with existing plant.

Enhancing Chlorine consumption at site to support to Caustic expansion by productivity enhancement in CP

Execution of existing process upgradation projects like PROJECT GARUDA.

Commercialization of new grades of PAC

Industries to be hired from : Polyaluminium chloride, Chlorinated parrafin wax , chlorination and organic industries will be added advantages
