Qualification: Bachlore of Mechanical Engineering 

Experience: >10 years

Hands on experience on operation and maintenance of utilities including boiler.

Hands on experience in maintenance of chemical plants

Detail awareness about statutory requirements in utilities.

Good communicator and good analytical skills. 



Job Highlights of Lanxess Job 

Please shortly describe the most important, appealing 5 to 8 tasks of this position:

1. Manage operation and maintenance of utilities like D.M.Water plant, Nitrogen plant, Cooling tower, Chilled Water plant, Air Compressor and Boilers.


2. Planning, budgeting, and monitoring of utilities. Ensure consistent, continuous generation and distribution of utilities to all the business units at optimum cost. Planning and budgeting of energies.


3. Accountable for improving reliability of equipment by ensuring preventive, predictive maintenance of Utility equipment.


4. Accountable for the management and performance (financial and operational) of appropriate external suppliers, including sub-contractors, including all aspects of compliance with legislation, regulations and forms of contract. 


5.Accomplishes engineering and organization targets (key projects) and execution of yearly approved capex.


6. Ensure Internal/external resource planning and development of subordinates for department requirements.


7. Accountable for Energy management system and Compliance to legal and internal – Global audit.


8. Accountable for KPI data management, Site safety performance compliance, safety Dialougs, Incident investigation
