Position: Production Executive- PM
Location: Dahej, GJ, IN, 392130
Job Field: Production, Maintenance & Technical Services
Education: B.E/B. Tech (Chemical)
Working Experience: 4 - 6 yrs work experience in Production Operations
Technical & Professional Knowledge: DCS knowledge / Batch /Continuous chemical Process/ SAP/ Problem solving
Objectives of the Position
1) Lead Safety, health, and environment at workplace.
2) Control, Monitor and Supervise production processes of all items according to production schedules as per company standards and specifications.
3) Coordinating and monitoring smooth functioning of production processes as per the decided norms under the directions from Production Manager.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
Related to Production:
1) Coordinate and manage production in shift with consistent quality as per the target.
2) Continuous improvement of production processes in coordination with the Production manager.
3) Monitor the production process through DCS/Field and do trouble shooting as and when required.
4) Support production manager to reduce batch cycle time, increase in yields, increase operational ease and ultimately leading to cost effective production.
5) Guiding a group of Executives/ Officers/ Operators/ Contract workers in the plant continuously to ensure product quality of international standard and Work with Quality control team.
6) Update knowledge of equipment’s & product on regular intervals.
7) Ensure preventive Maintenance is done on time for all equipment.
8) Ensuring proper maintenance of all the norms as per the departmental operating procedures of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001.
9) Follow TDS requirements while performing activities like tanker loading, unloading, labelling, and packing as and when required.
Related for EHS:
1) Guide shop floor personnel towards SHE (Safety, Health & Environment)/ Responsible care/ cleanliness of the plant (5S)/ discipline for improving the BASF’s safe work culture in the shifts.
2) Implement safety, Health and Environment system of the plant and assist concerning peoples.
3) Ensure compliance of BASF’s statutory requirements, which also includes the training of the subordinates regarding the safety aspects and handling of the critical monomers/ hazardous chemicals.
4) Ensure that discharge parameters of all the emissions in the plant are within the statutory limits.
5) Ensure Health and hygiene of the plant personnel and plant is well maintained in the shifts.
6) Adherence to the PPE usage of the plant personnel and work permit system is properly followed in the shifts.
7) Compliance to all RC code as per BASF practice.
8) Performs the role as defined in On-site Emergency Plan to mitigate the emergencies.
