POSITION: INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICAL ENGINEER

Location - Vapi, Gujarat

Qualification: BE or B.Tech Instrumentation or Electronics & Communication

• Years of Experience - 3 to 5


Key Role and Responsibilities:

- To plan & supervise the execution of routine & non-routine (Project, modification, shutdown & breakdown) instrumentation works to improve the operational efficiency & availability of instrumentation setup

- Prepare, maintain & update the list of instruments & systems within the area of ownership 

- Prepare, plan & analyze the maintenance & project activities - Ensure the timely execution of maintenance (preventive maintenance, shutdown)/ project plans as per schedules, update production team & superiors on deviations 

- Plan & organize resources for the execution of job 

- Monitor & ensure availability and effective performance of installed instruments & systems 

- Responsible & accountable for the maintaining safety standards in area of ownership 

- Manage the availability of material, spares, maintenance cost in the area of ownership 

- Fulfill statutory & regulatory requirements in the area of ownerships and maintain the records 

- Verify & initiate actions for the quality of contract work, new instrument inspections etc., escalate observed gap / deviations to the superiors 

- Review daily log sheets, analyse the collected data, prioritize & allocate work to technicians, supervisors with recommendations 

- Organize, conduct trainings to upgrade the required skills of team members 

- Participate & contribute in RCA (Root cause analysis), conceptual studies, risk analysis etc. 

- Review P&IDs, hook ups, float enquiry for modification jobs, small projects 

- Coordinate with "detailing engineer" to fulfill new projects

- Detailed knowledge of logic designing and troubleshooting of DCS/PLC.
