Job Title - Assistant Manager Process Engineering
Location: Dahej, India
Qualification and Experience Details:
•B. Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
•Minimum 8 years of industrial experience in the Speciality/Fine/Agro Chemical industries.
•Hands on experience and thorough understanding of batch reactor and distillation column.
•Good understanding of process chemistry.
•Analytical thinking and proven problem-solving skills
•Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, cross divisional environment.
•Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
Your key responsibilities
•Collaborate with R&D chemists and the local pilot plant team in process optimization & intensification efforts as well as process scale up.
•Prepare conceptual design of new capex projects and provide support to Project team during detail engineering and commissioning phase.
•Understanding of Process thermal safety. Collaborate closely with the local process safety team to ensure safe transfer and operation of chemical processes. Participate in process safety review’s and Hazop.
•Lead and manage process transfers projects to Pilot and production plant. Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues that impact quality, cost, and throughput. Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
•Identify ideas to improve manufacturing processes to enhance yield, productivity and reduce waste.
•Develop strong relationships with internal partners from chemical operations, HSE partners and the innovation community especially organic and analytical chemists to maximize value generation.
•Deep understanding of automation and process control systems used in production.
•Maintain a high level of awareness of the advancement of the technology related to the field of activity based on literature and patent. Propose new processes as well as technologies feasibility studies.
