Position: Proposal Engineer
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Proven experience in proposal writing or project management within an engineering environment.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Ability to interpret technical requirements and develop effective solutions.
Proficient in MS Office and project management. software.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs):
Review RFPs to understand client needs and assess the feasibility of project requirements.
Develop Technical Solutions: Work with engineering teams to design solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.
Prepare Proposal Documents: Write clear and persuasive proposals that detail project scope, timelines, costs, and deliverables.
Coordinate with Stakeholders: Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and approvals for proposal development.
Estimate Costs: Calculate project budgets considering labor, materials, equipment, and other resources.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Present Proposals: Assist the sales team in presenting proposals to clients and addressing any technical queries.
