PI Industries Job Vacancy For Head Quality Control
Position Purpose
The Head Quality Control (site) is responsible for building a quality culture to achieve business objectives and goals through system based initiatives.
This role is also responsible for improvement of efficiency of various processes and implementation of quality systems at site to achieve quality consistency in operations and product quality.
Education Qualification
M. SC in Analytical / Organic Chemistry
Work Experience
12-15 years in total, 2-3 as a Head of Quality Control Department
Strategic Responsibilities
Implement quality systems at site to build quality consistency in operations and product quality
Plan for initiatives to improve systems performance, quality of products, cost reduction and skill set of personnel in function
Ensure optimum utilization of resources in testing
Interact with QA for deviation authorizations & dispositions
Operational Responsibilities
Plan for overall quality control process and resource assessments and ensure availability for new molecule manufacturing at site
Lead administration of quality monitoring to ensure correct and timely testing with no productivity loss
Guide in statistical analysis of quality data and highlight deviations and quality performance reporting to management
Drive investigations of product quality and packing complaints and take necessary measures to avoid reoccurrence in consultation with QA
Participate in investigations together with Operations & other functions for OOT, OOS by the team and be responsible for implementing corrective/ preventive actions
Take full responsibility of Quality Control department’s budget
Support the process of trouble-shooting through key analysis & data support
Drive trainings & demonstrations to Tolling facilities as well as support them with analysis as required
Drive NABL system implementation & compliance
Manage Product and packaging quality improvements through benchmarking studies
Drive implementation of organizational excellence systems like ISO etc at the functional level
Responsible for execution of all environment related analysis for the site
Develop KPIs to measure the performance of QC executives at Site to ensure high productivity
Financial Responsibilities
Ensure achievement of cost saving initiatives to achieve targeted savings in time frame

Facilitate initiatives for training need identification and building requisite skills & competencies through systematic training & skill-upgradation initiatives for the team
