Position: Senior Officer/Assistant Manager - Environment
Education: M.sc in Environment or BE/B.Tech in Environment Engineering
Experience: 4-5 years in the cement industry
Skills Required:
- In-depth knowledge of Environmental Management Systems
- Environmental audit & legal compliance related to the cement industry
- Liaison with environment-related government authorities & public relations
- Strong communication skills
Job Description:
- Monitor environmental parameters to ensure compliance with EMS standards
- Liaise with government agencies and plant personnel for adherence to environmental regulations
- Develop Environmental Impact Assessment reports and manage public hearings for new and expansion projects
- Collaborate with sustainability teams to prepare reports, SAQs, and support sustainability audits
- Manage environmental clearance applications, renewals, and compliance report submissions
