Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing and procurement of critical items. This role involves:

• Floating enquiries for critical items based on user requirements.
• Matching and approving the technical requirements given by users and vendors.
• Conducting second-round negotiations with vendors and collaborating with the buying manager for finalizing deals above a certain amount, or closing deals directly for amounts below the threshold.
• Ordering finalized items and making appropriate entries in the SAP system.
•  Providing timely responses and resolutions to internal and external audit issues related to procurement, and supporting buyers in resolving such issues.

Skills & Competencies:

Analytical mindset. 

Excellent written and oral communication skills. 

Knowledge of equipment and process/maintenance activities.

Strong commercial acumen.
